MANY
thanks to
DOGSWELL for their generous donation of treats for our
foster dogs! CBR-East beagles LOVE Duck Breast Breathies, and
all of the
SIMPLY

THANK YOU to a great company for donating to and supporting our
efforts saving the lives of beagles in need. It is wonderful when
companies who say they support rescues actually step up to the plate
to do so! |

Many companies say they help nonprofit organizations, and others actually DO! Many thanks to Sandra Lasorda, representative from Natural Balance pet foods and PETCO for her amazing donations and support of our efforts. From donations of dry food samples of multiple varieties, to samples of the dog food rolls, to a beautiful basket, "goodie" packets for new adopters, and even Natural Balance t-shirts! NINE boxes of "goodies" arrived, and we don't know how to say Thank you. Since switching our foster dogs onto Natural Balance Ultra Premium, good things continue to happen... Sandra Lasorda continues to support CBR-East - MONTHLY! We cannot send enough thanks...

October 2007: Alison Marie Wildman
|
Established in Loving Memory of Alison April 10, 1971 - September 11, 2001 World Trade Center Victim
CBR-East was honored to be the recipient of an extremely generous donation from the Alison Marie Wildman Foundation to be used for the "caring and feeding" of animals. Her foundation is operated exclusively for religious, charitable, scientific, testing for public safety, literary or education purposes (excluding scholarships). No less than 35% of the annual income will be distributed to charitable organizations whose principal purpose is the prevention of cruelty to animals. When we looked online to learn more about Alison, we found the following links and wanted others to learn more about this loving person who, years after she left this earth too soon, is helping us in our mission to help beagles in need.

|
Thank you to ASAP for donating 2 large bags of food to our Laboratory Beagle Adoption Division! The laboratory beagles eat a specific food which is not available to the general public, so ASAP generously donated some to help ensure a smooth transition for the dogs from their current dog food to a more typical pet food! Many thanks! |

May 2007: Dog lovers...
|
|
...from the Sparta, NJ Junior Girl Scout Troop coordinated efforts to create "First Night" adoption kits to assist homeless dogs in Cascade Beagle Rescue's foster program. The kits included everything from collar and leash sets to food, bowls, toys and treats - staple items that all new adopters need when bringing home their "babies". For their hard work the girls were presented with Volunteer pins and Certificates of Appreciation from Cascade Beagle Rescue. As an additional incentive, the scouts were also awarded with a Humanitarian Recognition gift from their troop leaders.
