Microchipping your pet can be a backup safeguard, but the best way to be sure you dog finds its way back home is a current tag.  If your pet is microchipped, there are several brands of chips and several different companies that provide registration services.  It can be quite confusing!   For example, your pet could have an Avid brand chip, but it may be registered with Home Again.  CBR uses various brands of chips and we will always advise you which registry is used!
