Nutmeg was confiscated by authorities in a cruelty case.  He is highly unsocialized and is likely to have trust issues. He is a beautiful boy who need someone who isn’t going to push the envelope with him.  It’s probably going to take him a long time to come out from under the bed…but working with him on his terms will be important.  He will learn that not all people are bad one day.   We would not place him with young children as this would be too much for him.  One step at a time for this boy!  If you want to help a sweet Beagle learn to “be”…this is your boy.
