The best day!
Today, May 3, 2014 is the best day of Bear’s life. He found a family who couldn’t live without him. Thank you Gary L. of Troutdale, OR, the kids, Sam the 16 year old beautiful beagle, and the JRT waiting at home to meet his new brother…for giving Bear a chance! His sweet eyes, his bright personality and his fun demeanor won them over. For many who passed him over…your loss! This dog is a keeper and is absolutely a love! His seizures have only been one in the past year and easily managed with an inexpensive pill.
Bear – The Unwanted
[two_third_last] Arooo to Julie B. of Lake Oswego for sponsoring me! A big thank you to Jen & Ellie for sponsoring Bear! [/two_third_last]
Bear’s family took him to the vet to be euthanized but the vet office had them sign him over to them. Why? Was it an attitude or behavior problem? No! It was simply because he has flea allergies and occasional seizures and they couldn’t cope with it. Their loss…your gain~! Bear is a lovely Beagle who is very happy and playful! He loves to eat and has a zest for life. He is completely housebroken and rides perfectly well in a car. In fact, he digs car rides. He’s great with other dogs too! It’s so cute to see him initiate play with other dogs. Bear does have about 1 seizure a month and he is on phenobarbitol twice daily to manage this. Because he is highly allergic to fleas, you would have to be religious about monthly flea prevention and we’re not talking about a flea collar. This guy needs the good stuff!
Bear is ready to start his brand new life with you…are you ready for him?
