CBR-East attended the Super Pet Expo in Edison, NJ on February 9, 10 and 11, 2007! What a tremendous event to educate the public about beagle rescue, showcase our adoptable beagles, fundraise, check out the wonderful vendors, and network with local shelters, rescues, and others. |

CBR-East, in conjunction with Shelter
Helpers on Wheels and
Terry's Pet Depot in Morris Plains, NJ had a great
adoption day with the Easter Bunny on
March 25, 2007! Thanks so much to Sylvia, our fuzzy
Easter Bunny volunteer who spent the day in a hot suit taking pictures
with so many beagles, pets, and children! It was a successful

A great day at the K9 Karnivale at Best Friends Pet Care in Willow Grove, PA on May 5, 2007! It was a nice chance to start branching out to some PA events, and get our PA volunteers involved in educating the public about beagle rescue. Thanks to Nancy for getting us involved in this, and to our PA volunteers for supporting this effort! |

Our second appearance at the Pet Fair in Mountainside, NJ on May 6, 2007 was another success! Available beagles searched for their forever homes, and volunteers were kept busy and involved! We did our part to help others learn about pet overpopulation, high-kill animal shelters, research laboratory beagles, and beagle rescue adoption. Thanks to everyone who attended and made this year's event a success. |

We attended the first Doggie Daze of Summer event, sponsored by the Pet Adoption League in Long Valley, NJ on June 30, 2007 was a great venue for networking with other rescues and spreading the mission of CBR-East! |

Our second appearance at the L'Oreal "Because Your Dog is Worth it, too" event was a blast in Cranbury, NJ on August 18, 2007! Peanut and Damien helped educate people about retired laboratory beagles, and Hailey found her forever home! Thanks to all of the volunteers, adopters, and alumni who came to support the Susan G. Komen Fund, as well as CBR-East! |

Our second appearance at the Scottish-Irish Festival in Green Lane, PA event was FABULOUS (although a bit warm!) on September 8, 2007! Damien, Little D, Turner and Squirt attracted quite a crowd and helped educate people about retired laboratory beagles. They did a wonderful job! Thanks to all of the volunteers and supporters who came out and made us feel very welcome. |

We joined in the national Responsible Pet Ownership Day at Best Friends Pet Care in Willow Grove, PA on September 23, 2007! Available beagle, Damien attended, and even won 1st place in the "Longest Ears" contest! YAY Damien! Thanks to our volunteers for spearheading this event and helping to educate the public about responsible pet ownership! |

You always know when the holiday season starts to settle in, and that's when it's time for Pet Halloween photos! We had a blast at Terry's Pet Depot in Morris Plains, NJ on October 6, 2007 for what we hope will be an annual Fall fundraiser. Thanks to everyone for coming out to support us, and to available beagles Chester and Barney who showed up to look for their forever homes. |

A blustery day greeted everyone at the Bark in the Park in Tewksbury, NJ on October 28, 2007! Snow White did not seem to mind, though, and neither did our wonderful volunteers and the supporters of the event. Great job everyone! |
