CBR-East continues to grow as we reach out to the community and build our volunteer base! Having rescued over 35 beagles, and adopting them out to loving homes, we are thrilled with our progress in just a few months! We had a great day at the "Because Your Dog is Worth it, too!" L'OREAL PARIS event, with proceeds benefiting the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in Cranbury, NJ on August 5, 2006. |

We had a blast, along with over 100,000 other visitors, attending the "Scottish Irish Festival!" in Green Lane, PA on September 9, 2006! It was a great way to help talk about beagle rescue to a a "new" geographic area for us. We hope to build up and attend more events in Pennsylvania in 2007! |

Howl 'n Hike, October 29, 2006 in Mt. Olive, NJ - A bit too windy to put out a lot of our merchandise and literature, but a fun day nonetheless. How can it not be when there are beagles around? Thanks to those who braved the wind and the cold to help educate folks about beagle rescue, and to our great volunteers who brought their beagles - costumes and all!
