Poor little Tajma...her owners spoiled her for 8 years of life before the authorities found her faithfully lying beside her elderly deceased owner.  She was taken to a shelter and was obviously depressed and withdrawn.  She is now in a CBR foster home doing very well.  She does need to lose a few pounds, but who doesn't?  She has a lot of good years left to love someone and she, in turn, needs to be loved.  She would do best in a home without children and being an only dog would suit her just fine!   If your home and heart has room for this sweet girl, please apply today!   She is current on all vaccinations, spayed and ready to go.  Her adoption fee is $200.  Please complete the on-line adoption application here.

They call me "Lady", but really I'm a little princess.  I'm only 13 lbs and am considered a 13" beagle, but I'm really smaller than that! My elderly dad and I were in charge of taking care of my elderly mom for many years.  My job was to lie next to her and make sure she finished her dinner (*wink wink*).  One day my dad fell and broke his hip and he was taken to the hospital.  When there was nobody but me left to take care of mommy, the family came in and moved them both to an "assisted living" home.  Next thing I knew I had nowhere to go...and I was turned over to a very nice vet to find me a new home.  Then we got a call saying that a beagle  place called CBR would take me sight unseen!  AROOOOO!  I am now in my new foster home with another beagle and I even get to be on the sofa like I used to at home!   All I need now is a permanent home and a new person or two to love me and take care of me.  I'm about 8 years young, a little pistol, and did I mention that I LOVE treats?  I am current on all my shots, spayed, microchipped and even got my teeth cleaned!  I'm ready to move into your house...and onto your couch!  If you're interested in me, please complete the on line adoption application...hurry though, I heard them say "She'll go in a heartbeat!"  How exciting to think that someone might want me!  My adoption fee is $200.
